It is an historical role-playing game that focuses on character development and heavily stylized art and choice-driven storytelling in early 15th Century Germany. The main character is an incredibly skilled illustrator who has been involved in a series of murders that took place at Kiersau Abbey over twenty five years. Only this character has the intelligence and the determination to find the culprits however, every decision he takes is a long-lasting one that leads him to the center of an underlying conspiracy.
